Jurassic World: Rebirth - The Tragic Collapse of a Once Great Legacy | Links to watch the Jurassic universe 🦖

This is an uncensored, brutally honest review from someone who grew up loving the first film — and now wants to ban this one from memory forever.

I just finished watching it. And I mean just finished. The credits rolled and I sat there, stunned — not in awe, not in fear — but in sheer, painful disappointment. This is, without question, the most faith-crushing entry in the entire franchise.

I grew up with Jurassic Park. It’s one of the reasons I even became a filmmaker. That first film? Magic. Real cinematic magic. I remember being a kid, wide-eyed, jaws dropped, crying over dinosaurs that felt alive. But this one?

I remember nothing.

Like… literally nothing. It ended and I felt empty.

🧭 A Plot So Lost, Not Even a GPS Could Save It

Yes, I get it. It’s hard to come up with new dinosaur stories after six films. But this one wasn’t just out of ideas — it was directionless. The whole “let’s go find a cure hidden in dinosaur DNA” storyline felt like they borrowed a rejected Anaconda 2 plot and tried to upscale it with a bigger budget.

It felt like a betrayal. Like they dragged dinosaurs back on screen just to make them props for random chase scenes. Everything was a blur of people running, cutting between scenes with shaky logic, while the dialogue desperately tried to sound serious — and instead made me roll my eyes so hard I saw my own brain.

🧍‍♂️ Who Are These People and Why Should I Care?

At least previous films brought back OG characters for a little nostalgic love.

This one? A brand-new cast of strangers that made me feel nothing.

Seriously, who the hell are these people? And why should I root for them?

They pop in like:

“Hey! I’m the main character now!”

And I’m like:

“Girl… so what?”

There’s even one scene where the guy sees a long-necked dinosaur and gasps in awe, like he’s witnessing history. And I wanted to scream in the theater,

“WE’VE SEEN THIS BEFORE. ALL OF IT. Stop pretending this is a big moment!”

None of the characters had depth or development. Not because the actors were bad — but because the script was so soulless it gave them nothing to work with. By the end, I honestly wished the raptors would eat them all.

Just kill ’em, sis. I don’t care. Bye.

🧩 Like a Messy Bulletin Board of Unrelated Scenes

The family drama? Random.

The emotional storyline? Emotionless.

The whole thing felt like post-it notes from different writers slapped together under a two-hour deadline.

Nothing connects. It’s like a group project where everyone submitted their part without ever meeting each other. Just vibes and chaos.

🎵 Music That Lost Its Magic

The Jurassic Park theme is ICONIC — but here, it was played so often and so carelessly it felt like background music in a department store.

John Williams didn’t compose this masterpiece for it to be treated like elevator music, damn it.

They used it so many times I was like:

“What is this? ‘All I Want for Christmas’ on loop in November?”

STOP. RESPECT. THE. SCORE.

🎬 Scene-A aka “Where the Hell Is the Scene I’ll Remember?”

Here’s a quick flashback of truly iconic moments from past films:

JP1: Kids hiding in the kitchen / T-Rex in the rain

JP2: Trailer hanging off cliff / Raptors in the grass

JP3: Plane crash / Phone ringing inside the dinosaur

JP4: Kids in hamster ball / Heroine outrunning T-Rex in heels

JP5: Volcano eruption / Dinos stampeding

JP6: Raptor high-speed chase / Girl dives into swamp

And this one? NOTHING.

No “Wow!” moment. No tension. No thrill. Just nothing.

It’s like they actively avoided creating a memorable scene.

💔 Final Verdict from a Wounded Fan

This isn’t just the worst Jurassic movie — it’s a complete erasure of the childhood memories we held dear. It should’ve been a totally different movie, under a totally different name.

It wiped the legacy clean with lazy writing, rushed direction, and a total lack of respect for the audience who grew up in the world of Jurassic.

This wasn’t Jurassic.

This was generic blockbuster slop with dino-shaped sprinkles on top.

In Jurassic World (2025) They used an inflatable boat to escape a T-Rex.

OH SHUT THE FRONT DOOR.
