After Countless Rejections, Here’s What I’ve Learned

For years, I sent countless emails with a YouTube link to the trailer of my series, Till the World Ends. Most of those emails went unopened—let alone watched. Yet, when I met people face-to-face, they acted like they knew my work inside out, speaking as though they were in control of the narrative.

I understand—I’m an independent filmmaker without the backing of a big studio. But what I found hard to accept was the false hope I was given. Many assured me they’d help distribute my series, and I waited, believing their promises. A year passed, and… nothing.

Eventually, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I spent a year learning the ins and outs of distribution because I truly believe in Till the World Ends. It’s not just a project to me—it’s my heart and soul.

Of course, the journey hasn’t been without its challenges. There were regions in Asia that doubted me, partly due to rumors and “mind games” I’d rather not dwell on. But none of that detracts from the value of my work.

To those who look down on independent filmmakers—don’t you dare. Every project has value, and every creator works hard to reach this point. We may not have the resources of big studios, but we pour our hearts into our work, often wearing multiple hats to make our dreams a reality.

Today, I’m proud to share that Till the World Ends is now available on Apple TV+, Tubi, and Amazon Prime.

To all the independent filmmakers or anyone with a dream: don’t give up. We have one life—make it raw, make it real, and make it the best it can be so you won’t regret a single moment in the future.

I’m not writing this to boast about what I’ve accomplished. I’m writing to ask for your support. If you have the time, please give my “baby” a chance. Watch it. You might love it, or even hate it—and that’s okay. All I ask is that you take the time to see it for yourself.

Here’s the trailer and the links. Thank you for reading. You’re awesome.
