We first released Till the World Ends in Thailand in 2023, and later rolled it out globally in 2024. Since then, people have been calling it “the most underrated BL series ever.”
We’re still not sure whether “underrated” is a compliment or not—because honestly, our goal was never to be underrated. We simply wanted the series to stand on its own as a successful story. Everyone in the team worked very, very hard to bring it to life.
Now, a year later, we’ve been scouting around and checking the scores across different platforms to see how audiences worldwide have been reacting. Here’s the roundup,
IMDb
Rating: 7.0/10 (with some reviews scoring it as high as 10/10)
IMDb remains the first stop for many international viewers, and while the rating looks modest, fans have left strong reviews praising the emotional depth and originality of the series.
Amazon Prime Video
Rating: 7.1/10 (from 1,033 viewers)
For a global streaming giant like Prime, this is a solid score. Crossing the 1,000-vote mark is no small feat, and we’re genuinely grateful for every single person who watched and rated.
WeTV
Rating: 7.6/10 (from over 5,300 votes)
This was our first official home, and audiences here gave us one of the warmest responses. Thousands of people took the time to vote, and the average still sits close to 8/10—a great sign of consistent support.
BL Watcher
Rating: 7.7/10
A respected drama review site gave the series a strong score, especially considering their usually tough grading curve.
The BL Xpress
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
They described it as “a phenomenal and emotional BL experience.” The review highlighted how the series doesn’t shy away from difficult emotions while still delivering a hopeful core message about love and humanity.
The Highest Score Recorded
8.2/10 on IMDb (another aggregate listing)
One breakdown even showed an 8.2/10 rating, depending on how votes are tracked and averaged. That’s encouraging, especially for an indie BL series competing with big-budget productions.
Overall Average Score
When we take the main ratings together—IMDb (7.0), Prime Video (7.1), WeTV (7.6), BL Watcher (7.7), and BL Xpress (4/5, roughly 8/10)—the overall average comes out to around 7.7 to 7.8/10.
For a series made with indie resources, tackling a dystopian BL concept that strays far from the usual school or workplace romances, that’s something we’re very proud of.
It’s been humbling to see Till the World Ends resonate with people in different corners of the world. From being called “underrated” to being praised for its “raw and unique” storytelling, every reaction matters to us.
If you haven’t watched it yet—now is the time. Experience the story with your own eyes, and let us know what you think. Your voice is part of this journey.
